How Propelo are working with local authorities and special schools
Propelo associates are working nationally to support local authorities and special schools with improvement and leadership. We are providing hands-on expertise to LA SEND teams to boost capacity and improve their response to SEND inspection outcomes and preparation.
This year we have provided project managers, EHCP writers, team leaders, improvement advisers, and senior tier officers. In special and mainstream schools, Propelo have deployed interim headteachers, Deputy Headteachers, SENDCos and associate leaders.
Propelo Director Adam Brett said: "The SEND sector is a fantastic place to work, but also one that has seen significant change over the last three years. We have worked hard to assemble a high-quality team of SEND experts who have responded positively to the SEND reforms and achieved success against a backdrop of increasing need and reduced resource. Our teams can deploy at short notice to provide immediate capacity. It’s been very rewarding to see the difference we’ve made this year and we look forward to helping more clients improve provision for the most vulnerable young people."
