I lead Propelo’s interim team, and I've worked within the education sector for over 15 years. Through our work, we've supported hundreds of schools, MATs, LAs and other education providers with their short and medium-term needs - and built the Propelo Associate Network; an unparalleled pool of quality assured education experts, that we deploy nationwide.
Having started my working life as a TEFL Teacher in Japan, I saw first-hand the power of education to broaden horizons and provide opportunities for children and young people to realise their full potential. I'm deeply committed to ensuring every assignment Propelo undertakes has a similar positive impact.
Beyond Propelo, I'm also a governor of a large, diverse primary school in Leeds and a Director of the Leeds Learning Alliance - a Trust of likeminded educational organisations committed to promoting and improving Inclusive Practice and educational opportunities across the West Yorkshire region. I'm also a veteran basketball player and senior member with the Mandela Warriors, who have done brilliant work nurturing talented youngsters in Chapel Town, Leeds since the 1980s.
